“ Best Mexican food in Vegas? Drive to Overton. Worth it. Great authentic food in the middle of nowhere.Really really worth it! ”
“ Quiet place but very comfortable, got our food in 10ish minutes. I got the SMALL carnitas nachos and my dad chile Colorado burrito. I absolutely LOVED mine, it was super big for being small and plenty to put me in a perfect food coma. Dad loved his, saying it was a great way above average burrito. Stopped by because it was the only Mexican food nearby and my dad and I were craving some. Stopped here and we ordered to go, our waitress so extremely nice and helpful. Would most definitely stop by here if driving through. ”
“ Owner and server were friendly and the environment comfortable. Had a small bowl of the albondigas and an horchata (it was huge and cold ). $13. I asked for some lime and it made my soup perfect. Filling and both items were delicious. Walked my happy self back to North Shore inn. ”
“ This is the best Mexican food you are going to find in Overton. It is also the only brick and mortar ethnic food in Overton as of now. It is not the most authentic or flavorful because they obviously cater to local costumers, but it's consistently decent. Thanks for being here La Fonda! ”
“ The only place to eat in this town past 6 pm and right across from the inn so we ate here and weren't disappointed. It was plentiful and tasted great. Chips and salsa to start was a nice touch. My only complaint was the guacamole; the avocado stem was in it and it was tasteless: no salt or lime it seems. Kinda bland inside, too, but okay service. ”
“ My boyfriend and I can here for dinner because we stayed across the street at Northshore Inn. There weren't any other options in the area so we were skeptical about the food but, wow, everything exceeded our expectation! Our server was Santiago! He was great and so sweet! We got the steak picado, steak fajita, extra guacamole (which we learned we didn't need to order because each of our entre also came with it), shrimp and fish taco a la cart, and a free Sundae for my birthday! The steak picado was so so delicious and flavorful! The meat was tender and the portion was huge. Shrimp and fish tacos were also good but I like the shrimp better. And the steak fajita was sizzling good! Nice clean restaurant with very comida sabrosa! I would definitely come back here again when I'm in town and would highly recommend this place!! ”
